Maintenance
Planned preventive maintenance keeps voice alarm systems compliant, reliable, and ready — meeting the BS 5839-8 recommendation for routine attention by the user, and the periodic inspection and servicing carried out by competent persons.
Voxiss offers tiered maintenance contracts to match the criticality and operating profile of your installation — from annual inspection-and-test programmes through to fully-managed 24/7 cover with guaranteed response times.

What a Visit Covers
Inspection of every accessible loudspeaker, microphone position, rack, cable termination, and emergency-message device for damage, dust, and security.
Every evacuation message broadcast to every zone, every microphone activated, every fault input simulated — matched against the cause-and-effect matrix.
Battery terminal voltage, charger output, internal-resistance trend, and discharge test against EN 54-4 standby-capacity calculation.
Verification that the system configuration still matches the as-built baseline. Any unauthorised changes flagged and rolled back where appropriate.
Manufacturer-released firmware updates assessed and applied where appropriate, with full backup of configuration before and after.
Visit report logged in the building log book and issued to the responsible person — with a clear action list of any remedial work or end-of-life equipment.
