Commissioning
Systematic, documented commissioning of every Voxiss installation against the design specification — with STIPA intelligibility verification, EN 54 functional testing, witnessed handover, and a complete certification pack ready for the building’s log book.
Our commissioning engineers carry calibrated NTi XL2 STIPA analysers, EN 54 simulation tools, and the full software toolchain required to configure, verify and certify the entire system end-to-end.
What We Verify
STIPA measurements at multiple positions per zone, recorded against the BS 5839-8 target of STI ≥ 0.50 (CIS ≥ 0.70). Heat-mapped reporting per zone.
Sound-pressure-level measurement against design targets — ambient-noise margin verified, with adjustment of zone EQ and tap settings as required to achieve coverage uniformity.
Every fire-alarm input simulated, every evacuation message verified, every zone-routing tested against the agreed cause-and-effect matrix.
Fault simulation on every loudspeaker leg — short, open, earth fault — verifying detection within 100 seconds and continued service to all other zones.
Full standby load test verifying 24h quiescent + 30min alarm capability per BS 5839-8 / EN 54-4 — with battery health logged for the maintenance baseline.
Role-specific training delivered in-person — system operators, fire wardens, building management — with a recorded training register signed off at handover.
